About Vasudhara
Vasudhara is the Buddha of prosperity and wealth. Offerings made to her brings more abundance in our life. In our day and age, lack of wealth can be a serious limiting factor in our freedom, so making offerings to Vasudhara helps resolve this issue.

Traditional depiction of Vasudhara
To learn more about Vasudhara herself, please read our detailed guide: Vasudhara: The Buddhist Goddess of Prosperity.
Our Monthly Practice
We organize the puja every month on the 3rd lunar day of waning moon (in Tibetan calendar, it's the 18th day) because this is the day connected to Vasudhara.
Samyak Astrology has been hosting monthly recitation of the Vasudhara dharani for the past two years now.

The Practice Details
The main point of this practice is the recitation of the Dharani which Sakyamuni Buddha praises as a powerful practice and has been approved by all the Buddhas of the past.
For offerings, we don't use that many traditional offerings but do use yellow clothes and yellow fruits as offering. We also provide butter lamps and corn for the pigeons at the temple.
Benefits of the Practice
As the dharani describes, the benefit is not just for wealth. All illnesses are pacified, and there is no harm from negative spirits of any kind.
Why Vasudhara is Superior
Vasudhara is better compared to other wealth deities like Kubera and Dzambala because she is a Buddha. Connecting with her helps directly with liberation as well, not just wealth. Additionally, it is said that when we generate wealth through our connection with Kubera and Dzambala, we also attract jealous yakshas who belong to the reitune of these deities and may want to harm us unless our usage of wealth is perfectly aligned with Dharma guidelines. We do not have to worry about this aspsect with wealth generated through Vasudhara practice.

About Our Offerings
The offering materials tend to contain bananas, other yellow fruits and yellow khatas, all of which are auspicious for Vasudhara. Similarly, pigeons are offered corn which is yellow in color; this is also in alignment with offerings suitable to Vasudhara.
The Sacred Vasudhara Dharani
The heart of our practice is the recitation of the sacred Vasudhara Dharani. This powerful mantra was taught by Buddha Shakyamuni himself and has been blessed by all the Buddhas of the past.
