Radha Krishna Upadhyaya was born in the year 1976 in Western Nepal, where encounters with spirits and deities are still as common as meeting one’s family and friend. Since childhood, he was a gifted clairvoyant. Many local sages paid respect to him when he was a child. He received a traditional Brahmin education and learned the arts of family rituals, grammar, astrology, and other traditional sciences.

His thirst for spiritual practice, particularly for the attainment of liberation, led him to study under many teachers in different traditions. At the age of 22 to 23, he undertook a meditation retreat in the forest of Bhagirathi in Northern India. He survived on one meal of cornbread for the entire year of his retreat and spent the rest of the time in deep samādhi, a state of meditative concentration. Later he seriously practiced Kriya yoga in the Lāhaḍī Mahāsaya lineage for thirteen years. Specifically from 2011 to 2015, he undertook intensive meditation retreat, meditating on average sixteen hours every day. After this retreat, he was instructed by the goddess Jalpa Devi, in whose temple he was a priest for many years, to start helping people. Thus, he started helping people, primarily through the means of astrology. He was already a competent astrologer when he was young. But after the Kriya practices, he could effortlessly read the chart to get insights into people’s personalities, past life karma, major challenges in life, and various aspects concerning a person’s life. People also started to report the positive effects of the remedies he prescribed. Since then, he has read charts of thousands of people, and helped them solve their mundane problems, while always encouraging and inspiring them to have faith in the infallible law of karma. Since 2015, he also is a practicing Buddhist, which has vastly broadened his scope of astrological knowledge and services.

Suyog Shrestha is the founder of Samyak Astrology Services. He first studied astrology in the tradition of Ernst Wilhelm. Radha Krishna doesn’t talk English, and is not entirely aware of modern encounters especially in the Western world. So Suyog helps bridge that gap by acting as a medium of communication between the client and Radha Krishna. Even though Suyog doesn’t read charts, because of his own study of astrology, he is able to formulate questions for clients in a traditional manner, and also translate the traditional insights given by Radha Krishna in a form that is understandable to modern people. He has served in this role for hundreds of readings that Radha Krishna has done.
